Audience

The audience for which this training was created are healthcare workers, especially those who work in healthcare organizations’ Records Departments.

Features

  • 508 Accessibility: designed for the visually and hearing impaired. That said, users can mute the audio at any point during the training. Additional user choices are included throughout the training.

  • Individualized Test: Users must log in with their full name in order to receive credit for this course.

  • Assessment Design: The assessment is structured within Articulate as three question banks. Each bank has numerous questions which are drawn randomly. This is to increase the chance of users true rather than rote knowledge.

  • The scenario based questions are compulsory and therefore included each time the test is taken. A completion certificate can be printed at the end of the training.

Analysis of the Needs Assessment Drove an Iterative Design

Analysis of the needs assessment information revealed that a review of sections of the law was apparent. Section I is dedicated to this review and scenario -based implementation of the law. Section 2, a summative quiz

Accountability

Since accountability was required, the design includes a mandatory login screen and a completion certificate printout is available upon obtaining a passing score of 80%.
