The Short Story

For the past 20+ years, I have been designing and implementing training and professional development opportunities, and creating and directing academic programs.  My work aims to empower adult learners, students, parents, and colleagues. 

Powerful training capitalizes on learners’ life experiences while providing consistent opportunities to practice newly gained skills in an engaging environment.  

I am an instructional designer, trainer, reading specialist, published author, and qualitative researcher. My areas of specialization include adult learning & training/teaching; eLearning design; differentiated instruction as it pertains to teaching ELLs literacy; design, implementation, and analysis of needs assessment and training effectiveness; and writing project proposal/ summary reports.
